Fundraising through art
Below are organizations to which I have donated art proceeds to financially support their work, often through specific artwork designs. These causes include local mutual aid, health activism, reproductive health, and more.

Funds raised as of February 2024
Right to Health Action
Right to Health Action is a majority POC health activism, advocacy and lobbying group formed during the pandemic, fighting to stop COVID and prevent pandemics of the future. See their work at www.r2haction.org.
Joy’s Free Store
“Joy's Free Store started as a food partnership with and Middle East Organizations. This collective expanded to collecting donations and distributing items to people requesting assistance anywhere, as well as in our network and neighborhoods, to create a collective free store. We are 100% free, volunteer, and community driven.”
We Keep Us Safe Collective
“We are a mutual aid fund collective made up of queer creatives aiming to grow a platform to sell artwork and use the proceeds to create a pool of donations to be redistributed… We conduct weekly donations to different crowdfunds both in Baltimore and around the country. Since January of 2021, we’ve crowd-funded and distributed over $16,481 to 305 folks.
In collaboration with Joy’s Free Store, We maintain Safety Funds: a project to help a list of folks – specifically living in Baltimore – with routine funds and material goods. Some of the folks on the list are disabled, houseless, and the elderly.
We also provide financial, material, or labor support to other mutual aid collectives in Baltimore (The Red shed, Joys Free Store, Baltimore Jail Support, etc.)”
Ellume Gardens
“Ellume Garden is an urban organic garden, nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, California. It is grown and cared for by Jade Luu, who is a permaculture designer and garden educator, hence it is designed and styled with permaculture elements such as in-ground garden beds, zone-specific areas, and a heavier emphasis on perennial plants & herbs grown in completely natural growing methods”
